The greytHR mobile application compliments the main greytHR platform and allows users to access certain HR and payroll functionalities on their mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.

With the application, employees can access their personal information, view payslips, manage attendance, and leave. They can also request leave, check leave balances, apply regularizations, download documents, raise helpdesk requests, and connect with other colleagues.

To start using the application, you must first log in to your greytHR mobile application.

After logging in you can view the home screen of your ESS portal. On the Home screen, You can view the following tabs:

  1. Home:

    1. Information cards with quick links:

      1. Mark your attendance for the day - You can use the Sign In/Sign Out button to record your attendance for the day.

      2. View and download your payslip for the month - The Payslip card allows you to view and download your payslip for the current month quickly.

      3. Declare your Income Tax - The Declare button on the IT Declaration card allows you to declare your income tax for the current financial year quickly.

  2. View the upcoming general and restricted/optional holidays quickly - The Upcoming Holidays card displays all the upcoming holidays for the next two months.

  3. Review team member's applications - The Review card is available only for managers. Tap the arrow on the required card to review and take action on your team member's requests.

  4. View team member's sign-in status quickly - The Who Is In card is available only for a manager. You can view your team member's sign-in status in a graphical representation. Tap the arrow to view the detailed information.

  5. Action tab: The Action option enables you to view and perform various actions. These include fixing gaps in attendance, checking attendance details for a month, requesting leave, seeing your remaining leave and transactions, looking at the holiday calendar, and viewing payslips, Year-to-Date (YTD) reports, and Income Tax (IT) statements. Quick links for the following tasks:

    1. Apply Regularization: Allows you to apply for regularizations and view any pending regularization requests.

    2. Attendance Info: Displays your attendance information such as Avg. Work Hrs, Avg. Actual Work Hrs, and Penalty Days.

    3. Apply Leave: Allows you to apply for Leave, Restricted Holiday, Leave Cancel, and Comp Off Grant.

    4. Leave Balance: Displays your leave balances such as Annual Leave, Compensatory Off, Sick Leave, Maternity Leave, and Restricted Holiday. The Apply button allows you to apply for any of these leave.

    5. Holiday Calendar: Displays all the holidays for the year, both general as well as restricted holidays.

    6. Payslips: Allows you to view and download all your payslips.

    7. YTD Reports: Allows you to view and download your YTD statements.

    8. IT Statement: Provides a detailed summary of your IT statement with an option to download.

  6. Explore tab: The Explore option acts as the main hub of your application. You can view all the important modules such as Attendance, Leave, Payroll, Helpdesk, People, and the related screens.

    1. Attendance: Allows you to manage your attendance data with the options to apply regularization and permissions, and also view your attendance info.

    2. Leave: Allows you to check and apply for leave.

    3. People: Helps you know more about your workmates.

    4. To Do: Helps you to review your pending tasks.

    5. Feeds: Create and view updates about what is happening in your organization.

    6. Helpdesk: Allows you as an employee to raise tickets under various categories such as employee information, salary information, and IT support.

    7. Documents: One-stop hub for all the documents and letters related to you, such as previous employment information, qualifications, payslips, company forms, and Form 16.

  7. Profile picture or name initials: The profile picture or name initials icon enables you to perform the following actions:

    1. View your profile information - The My Profile screen enables you to view your detailed profile information.

    2. Enable Diagnostic Logs option - The Diagnostic Logs option enables the system to generate the logs and captures the details of any app-related errors in the backend.

    3. Change your password - The Change Password screen allows you to regularly update your current password.

    4. Update your app - The Check for Updates option enables you to keep your app updated to enjoy the latest features.

    5. Log out of your mobile app - The Log Out button allows you to end your session.
