There can be times when you might have to change your password. You might have forgotten your password or your password is compromised, or even your company might have changed its password policy. Changing the password of your greytHR mobile app helps safeguard your personal and work-related information.
The Change Password screen in your greytHR Mobile application allows you to update your current password to a new one.
To view the Change Password screen, from the greytHR Mobile application, on the top right corner of the Home screen, tap your Profile picture or Name initials. A sidebar opens. Tap Settings > Change Password.
Change current password
Regularly changing passwords helps maintain account integrity and prevents unauthorized individuals from gaining prolonged access. It also reduces the risk of confidential information falling into the wrong hands, safeguarding both personal and organizational data. The Change Password screen displays the Password Policy based on your organization's configuration.
To change your current password, perform the following actions:
On the Change Password screen, in the Old Password textbox, enter your current password.
In the New Password textbox, enter the new password that you want to set.
In the Confirm Password textbox, enter the new password again.
Tap Change Password. A success message appears.
Note: It is recommended to view the passwords you have entered, by tapping the Eye icon before tapping the Change Password button.
