The greytHR mobile app is designed to give you easy access to your attendance, leaves, payslips, and more — right from your phone. But sometimes, device-specific issues can get in the way. This guide covers quick fixes for the most common problems, including login errors, pages not loading, and browser-related issues — for both Android and iOS devices.
Before reaching out to your HR admin, try these basic checks to resolve most device-specific issues in just a few steps.
If your app is not loading or login is failing — Check if Automatic Date and Time is Enabled
Incorrect date and time settings on your device can cause login and loading issues. Ensure automatic date and time is turned on.
On Android:
Open Settings on your device.
Navigate to Date and Time. Depending on your device, this may be under General Management, System, or Additional Settings.
Look for Use network-provided time or Automatic date and time and turn the toggle ON.
On iOS:
Open Settings on your device.
Go to General, then Date and Time.
Turn the Set Automatically toggle ON.
If the time zone appears incorrect, go to Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Location Services, then System Services, and enable Setting Time Zone.
If you are using Chrome on Android and pages are not loading — Clear Chrome App Data
Clearing Chrome's app data removes corrupted cache or stored data that may be causing loading issues.
Open Settings on your device.
Tap Apps, Apps and Notifications, or Manage Apps depending on your device.
Find and tap Chrome from the list.
Tap Storage or Storage and Cache.
Tap Clear Data or Clear Storage, then confirm by tapping OK.
Note: Clearing app data will remove saved settings and cached information from Chrome. Your greytHR account will not be affected.
If the login page is not loading on your iPhone or iPad — Disable Block All Cookies in Safari
Safari's cookie settings may be blocking the greytHR login page from loading. Disabling this setting allows the app to function correctly.
Open Settings on your device.
Scroll down and tap Safari.
Under Privacy and Security, locate Block All Cookies.
If the toggle is ON, tap it to turn it OFF.
Confirm if prompted.
If the problem persists after following the steps above, contact your HR admin or reach out to greytHR support for further assistance.
Start with a basic checklist — verify that automatic date and time is enabled on your device, clear app data if you are using Chrome on Android, or disable the Block All Cookies setting in Safari if you are on iOS.
Incorrect date and time settings can cause login failures and loading issues in the greytHR mobile app. Enabling automatic date and time ensures your device syncs with network-provided time, preventing these errors.
Go to Settings and navigate to Date and Time. Look for Use network-provided time or Automatic date and time and turn the toggle ON.
Go to Settings, then General, then Date and Time, and turn the Set Automatically toggle ON. If the time zone appears incorrect, also enable Setting Time Zone under Location Services in System Services.
Clear Chrome's app data. Go to Settings, then Apps, find Chrome, tap Storage, and tap Clear Data. Confirm when prompted. This will not affect your greytHR account.
This may be caused by Safari's Block All Cookies setting. Go to Settings, then Safari, and under Privacy and Security, turn the Block All Cookies toggle OFF.
No. It only clears locally stored data in Chrome such as cached files and saved settings. Your greytHR account remains intact.
