Log in to greytHR Mobile app securely

As a greytHR Mobile application user, you may often struggle with login difficulties and password management especially when you forget your password. This results in admin dependency for password resets. Even blue-collar workers who lack email or web access face the same trouble. This situation, in turn, causes frustrations and delays in accessing your greytHR mobile application.

The ease out all these difficulties we at greytHR provide you with different login methods to sign in to your greytHR mobile app. These methods ensure the overall security of the authentication process.

You can log in to your greytHR Mobile app using the following methods:

  1. Login using OTP through mobile number/email ID.

  2. Login using web address.

  3. Login for Enterprise IDP (SSO).

Benefits

Log in using OTP through mobile number/email ID

With the Login using OTP feature in your greytHR Mobile application, you can log in using your mobile number, or email ID and authenticate yourself with the OTP mechanism.

To log in to the greytHR mobile app using your mobile number, perform the following actions:

  1. On your greytHR mobile application’s login page, from the Country Name dropdown list, select the required country.

  2. In the Mobile Number/Email ID textbox, enter your mobile number/email address.
    Note: Alternatively, you can choose to log in with your email address by tapping Use Email ID/Use Mobile Number.

  3. Tap Next. 

  4. In the Enter OTP textbox, enter the OTP that you receive.
    Note:

    • You can rectify your mobile number by tapping the Edit icon.

    • The OTP remains valid for 15 minutes, and if needed, you can request to resend the OTP after 30 seconds.

    • You can receive up to five OTPs.

  5. Tap Log In to complete logging in with your mobile number/email address.

Note: International numbers can also log in to the greytHR mobile app using WhatsApp and follow the same steps to log in to the greytHR mobile app.

Log in using web address

Web addresses (URLs) and third-party login IDs such as social media accounts can simplify the login process. To log in to the greytHR mobile app using a web address, perform the following actions:

  1. On your greytHR Mobile application’s login page, in the Log in with Web Address textbox, enter the required web address.

Note: Tap the ℹ️ icon next to Log in with Web Address to view more information about the web address. 

  1. Tap Continue. A screen to enter your login credentials appears.

  2. In the Login ID textbox, enter your login ID. 

  3. In the Password textbox, enter your password.

  4. Tap Log In to complete logging in with your web address. 

Note: Alternatively, you can also sign in by using other apps such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Gmail. 

Login for Enterprise IdP users (SSO)

To log in to the greytHR Mobile app, the Enterprise IDP users (SSO) must perform the following actions:

  1. On your greytHR Mobile application’s login page, in the Log in with Web Address textbox, enter the required web address.

    Note: Tap the ℹ️ icon next to Log in with Web Address to view more information about the web address. 

  2. Tap Continue. A screen to enter your login credentials appears.

  3. Select Log In via SSO, to continue logging in through a third-party provided URL. The third-party sign-in screen appears.

  4. In the Username or email textbox, enter the required email address.

  5. In the Password textbox, enter the required password. 

  6. Tap Sign In to complete the login process.
