The Performance Management System (PMS) module streamlines performance evaluations with a structured, user-friendly system. It simplifies goal completion, performance reviews, and continuous feedback. This alignment ensures individual performance meets organizational objectives.

The PMS module includes the Review feature, which enables you as an employee to engage in self-assessment for personal development. You also receive multifaceted feedback from managers and other assessors. This provides a comprehensive view of your performance and contributions.

The Reviews page in the greytHR ESS portal allows you to assess your performance fostering a culture of self-awareness and personal development. The page also provides a timeline of the assessment activities. Each assessment card displays information such as Pending with, Start On, Due Date, and Assessment Status. The card also displays the assessment status Active/Completed.

You can view the following tabs on the Reviews page:

  • My Reviews: This tab displays the reviews that are completed by you.

  • Control Panel: This tab allows you to control the assessment activities.

Start the assessment

To start the assessment, perform the following actions:

  1. From the greytHR ESS portal, navigate to Performance > Reviews. The Reviews page opens.

  2. Select the required assessment card and click Start Assessment. The Self Assessment Guidelines pop-up opens.
Note: The View Timeline button provides a view of the status and progress of the assessment.

  3. Read the guidelines and click Next to start the assessment. The My Assessment page opens.
Note: You can revisit the guidelines by clicking the View Guidelines button available on the right side of the assessment form.

  4. Rate the assessment by adding a rating or score along with comments as per the configuration.
    Note:
In the Goals category, the evaluation can be completed either by selecting a rating from a defined rating scale or by entering a score, depending on how the review is configured by the organisation.
    When score-based evaluation is configured:

    1. You can enter the score using a slider or by typing the value.

    2. The score may be pre-filled based on goal progress.

    3. The corresponding rating and description are displayed based on the entered score.

  5. Click Save and Next. The Rating Summary form appears to evaluate the ratings.
Note: You can click → available on each category if you want to edit your ratings.

  6. Click Submit. The Submit Assessment pop-up appears.

  7. Click Confirm. A success message appears.
    Note:

  8. The Pending with status on the assessment card displays the details of the next level of the assessor.

  9. The Assessment Status remains Continue Assessment until the assessment is fully done.

  10. You can click the View Summary button available on the assessment card to view the summary of your ratings.

  11. You cannot edit the submitted ratings.

  12. In the goals category, only the performance goal plans are included in the review cycle.

  13. You can view the details of your goals such as Progress, Weightage, and Milestones on the right side of the Reviews page under your Goal ID.

  14. You can also click the link icon next to your goal ID to get a detailed view of the goal.

For goals, the assessment section displays an input to evaluate goal achievement.

  • You can enter the score using a slider or numeric input field

  • Both inputs are synchronised and reflect the same value

  • The score is interpreted based on predefined ranges and automatically mapped to a rating

A reference link is available to view the score ranges, corresponding ratings, and descriptions, helping you align your evaluation with the defined scale.

Note:

  • The score value can be adjusted before submission

  • Comments may be required based on the configuration
