Leave balance refers to the amount of paid time off or vacation time an employee has accumulated and is entitled to take from work. It is usually expressed in terms of hours, days, or weeks, depending on the company's policy.
You can view your team member's leave balances on the Leave Balances page in the greytHR ESS portal. The filter option helps you as a manager to view the leave balance of an individual team member.
You can perform the following actions on the Leave Balances page:
View team member’s leave balance.
Download team member’s leave balance report.
To view the Leave Balances page, click Leave > Leave Balances.
To view a team member's leave balance, perform the following actions:
On the Leave Balances page, from the Me dropdown list, search for the team member's name or employee id, whose leave balances you want to view. A list of cards appears.
Click View Details on the leave type card. You can view the selected employee's Available Balance, Opening Balance, and Granted leave. You can also view a graphical representation of the Balance and Consumed leave.
To download leave balance details of a team member, perform the following actions:
On the Leave Balances page, from the Me dropdown list, search for the team member's name or employee id, whose leave balances you want to download.
Click the Download icon to download the leave balance statement of your team member. The Download Leave Transaction Report pop-up appears.
From the From date and To date dropdown calendars, select the dates for which you want to download your team member's leave balances report.
From the Leave type dropdown list, select the type of leave for which you want to view details in the report.
From the Transaction dropdown list, select the required type of transaction you want to view in the leave balance report.
From the Sort by dropdown list, select the order in which you want to view the details of the leave balance report.
Click Download to download the Leave Transaction Report. The report downloads successfully.
